Peakd, operated by Peakd Labs Ltd (Company No. 17331702), respects the intellectual property rights of others. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable laws.
Content Sources & Attribution
Peakd aggregates publicly available information from multiple sources to build entity profiles. Our data sources include:
- Wikipedia — Content used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. Entity descriptions sourced from Wikipedia are attributed accordingly.
- Public APIs — Data retrieved from Product Hunt, GitHub, and other platforms via their official APIs in compliance with their respective terms of service.
- Community submissions — Users submit entity information directly. Submitters represent that they have the right to share such content.
- AI-generated summaries — Some descriptions are generated by AI models based on publicly available information. These are original works and do not reproduce copyrighted text.

Images displayed on Peakd are sourced from public APIs (Wikipedia thumbnails, GitHub avatars), uploaded by users, or uploaded by entity representatives. If an image is displayed without proper authorisation, please submit a takedown request below.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on Peakd infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent with the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed.
- Identification of the material on Peakd that you claim is infringing, with sufficient information to locate it (URL).
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification with your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, and consent to jurisdiction. We will restore the material within 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyrights will be terminated.
