The Owens Valley Radio Observatory is a radio astronomy research facility operated by the California Institute of Technology. Located in the Owens Valley, it features a 40-meter telescope and a 6.1-meter telescope donated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The observatory also hosts the Owens Valley Solar Array, a solar-dedicated radio observatory operated by the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
