Don Giovanni is an opera in two acts composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, first performed in 1787. It is a retelling of the Don Juan legend, combining comedy and tragedy to depict the downfall of the titular character. The opera features some of Mozart's most famous music and has been widely performed and adapted over the years.
