Entomology Museum at the University of Guelph

The Entomology Museum at the University of Guelph is a museum that houses approximately 3-4 million insect specimens, making it one of North America's most important heritage insect collections. It was founded in 1863 as the insect collection of the Entomological Society of Ontario and has contributed over 1100 newly described species to entomology. The collection includes a significant number of irreplaceable specimens of extirpated species, as well as a large collection of flies from the New World.
