FFTPACK is a Fortran package of subprograms that performs the fast Fourier transform (FFT) on periodic and symmetric sequences, including complex, real, sine, cosine, and quarter-wave transforms. It was developed by Paul N. Swarztrauber at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in 1982. The library includes various routines for different types of FFTs, such as forward and backward transforms, and is available in both single and double precision.
