HTTP/2 is a revised version of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), designed to improve performance and reduce latency in web communication. It allows multiple requests to be sent over a single connection, reducing the overhead of establishing new connections. HTTP/2 is composed of two specifications: Hypertext Transfer Protocol version 2 and HPACK header compression. The protocol has been developed by the IETF HTTP Working Group and is intended to replace HTTP/1.x.
