The James Webb Space Telescope is a space observatory designed to study the universe in infrared light. It is equipped with advanced instruments to observe distant galaxies, stars, and planets, particularly those that are too cool or distant to be detected by other telescopes. Launched in 2021, it is a collaborative project between NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Canadian Space Agency.
