musen is building AI Radio around a simple product question: what should be happening in this radio right now? The current public product is a free, account based personal Live Radio experience for iPhone and Android. Instead of asking listeners to build playlists, search repeatedly or manage a queue, musen keeps a continuous radio stream moving and lets the listener change direction when the moment changes. Requests can be typed, spoken or made with a picture. The radio interprets that intent, adapts what happens next and preserves continuity rather than starting over.
AI is used primarily to orchestrate the listening experience. It helps musen understand intent, select and sequence existing recordings available under appropriate rights arrangements, manage transitions and decide how the radio should continue. An optional AI Host can introduce tracks and add short spoken moments between songs. The Host can be configured or switched off for music only. The current public product does not generate the songs it plays.
musen is also testing how artists can participate in the radio and how listening can connect more visibly to attribution and future economics. Artist participation remains a closed test, and public artist payouts are not currently available. A web experience and broader developer or device access remain future directions. Across those changes, the product principle stays the same: reduce the work around listening while preserving listener agency, artist authorship, rights discipline and continuity over time.
