The Omega Speedmaster is a manual winding chronograph watch introduced in 1957 and chosen by NASA for use in the Apollo Program. It was the only watch flight-qualified for extravehicular activity (EVA) use by NASA, and has also been used by the Russian space agency NPO Energia. The watch features a tachymeter that allows users to calculate speed and direction given a fixed point.
