The OpenCard Framework (OCF) is a Java-based software framework that enables applications to interact with smart cards using Application Protocol Data Units (APDUs). It allows access to contact and contactless cards, implementing commands as defined by ISO/IEC 7816-4, -8, and -9. The OCF provides a generic card service for accessing smart cards with an ISO 7816-4 file system.
