The Sea Survival Training Centre UK is a training centre located on Horsea Island in Portsmouth, England. It provides initial and refresher training to Royal Navy personnel in ship abandonment and sea survival procedures. The centre was established in 2012 as a replacement for the old facility introduced in 1982, following the Falklands Conflict. The £2.4m project is named 'Ardent' in memory of HMS Ardent, one of the ships damaged during the conflict.
