The Sega Nomad is a handheld video game console designed to play North American Sega Genesis games. It features a backlit LCD screen, six face buttons, and can be powered by AA batteries or an AC power adapter. The Nomad has a unique feature set identical to a model 2 Mega Drive paired with a Six Button Control Pad, allowing it to be hooked up to a regular television. However, its early LCD technology causes 'ghosting' in fast action scenes, and the backlight is a drain on power.
