The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court in the country's judicial system. It has the final say on matters of federal law and the Constitution, and its decisions are binding on all lower courts. The Court consists of nine justices who are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. They hear cases involving constitutional issues, federal laws, and disputes between states or parties from different states.
