The Metalworking Workshop at the New York Hall of Science is a two-and-a-half hour intensive course where participants learn basic metalworking techniques and create their own set of stacking rings. The workshop, led by designer Tam Tran from Lost Wax Studio in NYC, covers hand tools and working with copper and silver wire, including filing, cutting, sanding, texturizing, and soldering with a micro torch. Each participant receives all materials and takes home at least five completed stacking rings.
