The Rosetta Spacecraft is a European Space Agency (ESA) mission designed to study a comet. It was launched in 2004 and traveled over 7.9 billion kilometers before rendezvousing with Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in August 2014. The spacecraft carried the Philae lander, which successfully landed on the comet's surface in November 2014. During its mission, Rosetta collected data and images that provided valuable insights into the composition and structure of comets.
