The Staffordshire Hoard's Treasure Hunter is a metal detectorist who discovered the UK's largest haul of Anglo-Saxon treasure in Staffordshire. The hoard, which includes over 1,300 gold and silver items, was found by Terry Herbert in July 2009 using a metal detector. The collection is believed to date back to the 7th century and contains approximately 5kg of gold and 2.5kg of silver.
